Palmdale Drug Offense Defense Lawyers
Palmdale, California is one of the largest cities of the Mojave Desert region. Palmdale derives its name from the local joshua trees, which were initially mistakenly identified as palm trees. Palmdale grew very slowly, population wise, for quite some time and even experienced some periods of shrinkage. It was not until the early 1980's that Palmdale's population really took off: increasing from only 12,227 in 1980 to an astounding 150,000 in 2008. Palmdale was a key location during much of the research and development on many of the United States Air Force's modern aircraft since the mid 1960's. Some of the better known projects include the SR-71 Blackbird, F-117 Nighthawk, B2 Spirit and the F-35 Lightning II. Palmdale has certainly earned its nickname, "The Aerospace Capital of America", now that Lockheed Martin's famous Skunkworks facility has been relocated to Palmdale.
